Donate to our shelter by just Shopping Online!! Pets in Foster Care Pico She's really a very sweet dog and easily trainable. Because of her markings we believe that she may have some bird-dog in her. She's somewhat reserved and is not a 'licker', i.e., won't lick you in the face. She does well with other dogs from what we've seen and she is easily approachable. The Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society would like to thank the Mississippi State Pre-Vet Club for sponsoring a supply drive and adoption day at Southern Family Market in Starkville. The club collected more than 6 grocery carts full of supplies, which they distributed between our shelter and Oktibbeha County Humane Society. They also donated money to our dental machine fund.
